This Saturday, April 11, 2015, right here in Gatlinburg, the 8th Annual Mountain Man Memorial March will be held, in honor of those who have served our country, past and present. This annual event features multiple activities, including a 26.2 mile marathon from downtown Gatlinburg, along U.S. Highway 321, into the Great Smoky Mountains. This event has expanded to include veterans, their families, families of active duty service members, and many more, since the event’s inception back in 2007.
