Tomorrow is a very exciting event for the Gatlinburg area, and is an event that has become a regular Christmas tradition – the Gatlinburg Festival of Lights Parade! This year is the 39th Annual Festival of Lights Parade, which will start at 7:30 PM tomorrow, December 5, 2014, in downtown Gatlinburg, going from Traffic Light #1A on the East Parkway (U.S. Hwy. 321), winding its way through downtown Gatlinburg, and then ending at Traffic Light #10 (Ski Mountain Road). There will be notable portions of this event for tomorrow, and one of them is an attempt to break an established world record – there will be red noses distributed to everyone in attendance for the Parade, with an expectation that 20,000 people will be wearing red noses simultaneously for 5 minutes, which would break the current world record of 16,092 red noses, set in Australia in 2011. There will also be lots of fun, entertainment, and excitement for people of all ages!
