Celebrate Smoky Mountain Springfest with “Bloomin’ BBQ & Bluegrass Festival”!

 

 

Sevierville’s 12th annual ‘Bloomin’ BBQ & Bluegrass Festival’ kicks off this Friday, May 20 and runs through Saturday evening. This particular event celebrates the beauty of springtime here in the Great Smoky Mountains, as well as providing arts and crafts for the kids, top of the line Bluegrass entertainment, and BBQ from around the country! This particular event drives in thousands of tourists from all over the region, and is located in Historic Downtown Sevierville, about 9 miles off of I-40. This year’s Bloomin’ BBQ & Bluegrass is full of thrilling new events; including a performance from America’s Got Talent’s very own Mountain Faith! Other incredible talents will be featured such as:  Bobby Osborne & The Rocky Top X-Press, The Gibson Brother’s, and Sevier County’s very own Jimbo Whaley & Greenbrier. And don’t forget to bring your appetite! This year’s BBQ line-up includes folks from ten different states, all coming to prove who does it best. You be the judge!
